  7. 1. This is a SUPPORT echo for the REGISTERED Spitfite Sysop.
  8.    Only REGISTERED Spitfire Sysops are allowed to participate in this
  9.    echo. Violators will loose their feed. Remember, the magic words
  10.    are REGISTERED SYSOPS ONLY.
  11.  
  12. 2. This is a PRIVATE echo and all FidoNet rules and regulations apply.
  13.  
  14. 3. Spitfire utility authors wanting to use this echo for support or
  15.    Beta testing such program(s) are required to contact the Moderator
  16.    or Co-Moderator for aproval.
  17.  
  18. 4. In an attempt to keep current records of systems accessing this
  19.    echo ALL systems are NOW required to NETMAIL the following to the
  20.    moderator. ***Pass-through systems are not requested to do so.***

  38.    This information will be used by the moderator to assist in compiling
  39.    a Monthly update of a Private nodelist of SPITFIRE SYSOPS in FIDONET.
  40.    Voice numbers will only be used by the MODERATOR/CO-MODERATOR and not
  41.    given out for any reason, unless permisson is granted in the above
  42.    Net-Mail Message.
  43.  
  44. 5. ALL messages and subsequent replies shall be of a POSITIVE nature, no
  45.    flaming will be tolerated!  DO NOT QUOTE any part of a message
  46.    that is of a negative nature or continue that message thread.
  47.  
  48. 6. Don't be easily annoyed. Some people have different views than
  49.    you. Who's to say which is correct?
  50.  
  51. 7. No ANSI Graphics are permitted in any message. This includes
  52.    personal signatures. All ANSI Color should be kept in the
  53.    ANSI Conference.
  54.  
  55. 8. Do not quote too much of a message. This causes extraneous
  56.    message packets, and is a lot to wade through, not to mention
  57.    increased cost of transmitting the messages. Quote just
  58.    enough to remind the receiver of the subject.
  59.  
  60. 9. TRY NOT TO TYPE WITH THE CAPS KEY DOWN. This is known as
  61.    shouting, and is bad typing practice. It is also hard to read.
  62.  
  63. 10. Messages determined excessively annoying by the moderator will not be
  64.     tolerated and will result in a SINGLE (1) warning prior to official
  65.     action being taken as outlined in the current FIDONET Policies.
  66.     Complaints of annoying messages can be NETMAILED to the Moderator or
  67.     Co-Moderator.
  68.  
  69. 11. No ENCRYPTED mail flow is allowed.
  70.  
  71. 12. No programs are to be transmitted as a message. Small portions of
  72.     source code for clarification purposes will be allowed.
  73.  
  74. 13. Messages addressed to or from "SYSOP" are not acceptable.
  75.  
  76. 14. Please leave ALL moderating to the moderator(s).  I decide if a
  77.     person has violated a rule.  Do not respond to a rule you feel
  78.     is in violation, as this causes confusion.  If you have a complaint,
  79.     send me a netmail message.

  81. 15. The position of a new moderator will be handled by appointment by the
  82.     outgoing moderator. In the event he/she is not available the
  83.     Co-Moderator will by default fill the position and appoint a new
  84.     Co-Moderator.
